Question:
There is tension (feels tight like it always did) when I pull the lever located inside the jeep by the floor board, but I just keep pulling and pulling until my fingers feel like they'll break and then it won't pull no more. Tried pulling with vise grips etc. but still nothing. What's up?!?! Any solutions?

Try having someone bounce the hood while you are pulling the release. The hood on my Bronco sticks like that sometimes... if I can get someone to give it a good bounce while I'm pulling the hood release it pops open. Be sure to oil up your lock when you it open and possible adjust it if it's a little too tight. You can either adjust the latch mechanism up or move the hood stops down and it usually helps a bit...
