Why didn't Daewoo brand cars become a success in the United States?
The 325e used a special four inch long IDLE CONTROL VALVE.This valve was installed in a vacuum hose above the rear side of the valve cover. The early 325e IDLE CONTROL VALVES were very troublesome and were replaced with an improved type valve in the 1986 - 1987 models. There is a tiny idle adjustment screw in the back of the early 325e IC valves. Best to remove the ICV and clean it out thoroughly with a solvent before attempting adjustment. Better yet is to buy a new or used later improved version ICV and do away with the 1985 early type valve.

Just fixed the same problem on my own car, check the intake tubing for cracks, mine had a crack where the intake tube mounts to the throttle body, didn't have the cash on hand for the tubing due to Xmas, however, i did some "plastic fusion" using a bic lighter and some thin plastic, fixed the problem and now it runs like clockwork, fixed it for me, could be the same problem your having, also there could be problems with the idle air, or throttle body itself, generally a good cleaning with the appropriate cleaner will solve this, hope it fixes it.New 2008 Honda Accord have Bose?
Hi,Pls confirm that these surge happening with Aircon ON.When aircon is ON then these surges are normal and may come due to the temperature control.The A/C compressor may be ON and OFF due to the temperature control which gives the load to the engine and which gives out surges.

As our other friends told,try to clean the ICV(Idle Control Valve) and MAF(Mass Air Flow) Sensor,(a black big box heavy).These MAF generally hardly fails.Just remove this box and clean it carbclean.

Another important thing is that pls check the Air filter and if it has turned to dark color change it.If your running your in a dusty enviornment then it is better to replace every 3-4 months.
