THE WRENCH YOU NEED IS A 36MM OPEN END TO REMOVE THE FAN CLUTCH FROM THE WATER PUMP.AND A CHAIN HOLDER OR ANYTHING THAT CAN HOLD THE WATER PUMP PULLEY WHILE YOU LOOSEN THE FAN CLUTCH.AN EXPERIENCE TECH CAN DO THIS JOB IN AN 1 1/2,MOST SHOP WILL CHARGE YOU BETWEEN 2-3 HOURS DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU LIVE,IT'S AGOOD IDEA TO REPLACE THE BY-PASS HOSE AND THERMOSTAT WHILE YOUR AT IT.What works even better than the wrench is a long punch and a hammer. Tap th side of three wrench area a few times in the direction to loosen and it will usually thread right off. Put the punch in the center and rap on it a few time just to loosen its bite then try the loosen direction. Works every time.

BIG WRENCH AND A HAMMER. Put the wrech on there, and give it a swat in the direction to loosen the fan. After a good one or two hits you can screw it off by hand!
