My car is not starting. It is not the battery. The last time this happened, the dealership repaired the air mass system (or something like that). The next day it did not start. The dealership simply replace a fuse. What could be shorting this fuse?

However,the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor wont keep the car from starting. Nor will the door control switch or the fuse that it connects to.
Bring it back to the dealer or even better, find an independent VW repair shop. Just go to Yahoo yellow pages, put in your zip code, and do a search on VW repair shops.

it probably wasn't your mass air flow sensor in the first place .
take it back to the dealer because it's a come back they should 've fix it right . ask them to see the print out from the VAS 5051 or VAS5052 of your fault code and have them explain to your why they replaced the mass air flow sensor . the miss diagnos your car and never fix the problem. it's not your door fuse -(they located on the driver side -side dash with cover )
