Would a 2004 PT Cruiser Engine work in 2001 PT Cruiser?

Question:
I drive a 2001 PT cruiser with over 150,000 miles on it and i saw this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05-pt-... engine on Ebay Motors, and I wanted to know if I bought it, would it work in my car since it is 3 years older than my car. Please help me out.

I have a honda civic with 78,000 miles , the speedometer gets stuck at 20 and then after some time works fine?

Yeah, it should work. The engines are the same for most PT's. First I'd check though: Is the 2004 engine from a PT Turbo? That's the biggest difference.
