Windstar 00' apparently does not change to 4th gear. what is wrong?

How do you lock it and unlock it? The key has 4 positions:

07 Mercedes benz S class or 07 BMW 7-Series?

0 = Lock
I = Accessory
II = On
III = Start

I can guess what you mean by "lock it" but what about "unlock it"?

What he's saying is lock the vehicle the usual way with remote, then unlock it like you're ready to enter the van and once in put the key in ignition and start it.
