I have a 2005 Jeep Rubicon, how big of a lift do I need to put 35" tires on?

Question:
I was thinking 4.5" Rubicon Express or a Skyjacker lift, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to clear 35" tires with that. Any help is appreciated!

Normally its recommended that you run 5.5-6" of lift on a Jeep to clear 35" tires. If you never go off road 4.5" of lift would clear 35" tires.

I have an 03 Honda Odyssey, Will any thing not work if I change to an aftermarket radio?

That being said its getting more and more common for people to run a very minimal amount of lift to clear tires, and then add extended bump stops to keep the tires from rubbing, basically they end up with 10% up travel, 90% down travel. Not exactly my cup of tea, though, I'd rather have more room for up travel. Of course I'm also running 13" of lift on my YJ and still rub 35s in all four corners, but its worked well for me for 2.5 years now.

How much would a grand cherokee go for?

Probably 6" lift. Call 4 Wheel Parts or email them. They're pretty much the lift kit specialists in the industry.

your jeep right now is about 4-6ft off the ground and you want to put 35" rims on it then, your looking about your looking about an extra 3-4ft or more that you need to put those size rims on it.
