How do I remove the rear 6x9 speakers in a 96 plymouth neon?

Ok, well, it might be worth $15 bucks to head over to auto zone and get a Haynes manual, they go over this sort of stuff. Anyways, coming from my dodge neon Haynes manual, it says to remove the rear seat entirely, then you will be able to get the top panel off for the screws. It sounds worse than it really is, shouldn't be more than a few bolts holding the seat in. I still find it kinda screwy though how they put the screws through the top instead of the bottom.
