Anybody know if the new vw rabbit has any electrical problems.?

As was said, mostly electronic stuff, but occasionally other stuff. There is a reason mercs depreciate faster than Paris Hilton can drop her drawers. I have a 1 year old E55 and have had quite a few problems with it already, which is comical because my modified to hell and back Subaru STi has had no problems at all even with more than twice the stock HP. I almost regret buying the E because the hassle I've had with it. The only upside is WHEN the next problem happens, the dealer assures me I'll be given a brand new car. I've already passed the lemon law by about 15 days (so far in just over a year of owning it, it has been in the shop about 45 days). When it gets sick again I'll probably opt for them to give me a full refund, and go pick up something else, possibly an M5, or RS6. It's really a love hate relationship. When the car is on the road it is heaven on wheels. Great performer, with looks and class to back it up. Sadly though, it has spent quite a bit of time up on a rack being poked and prodded back to life. So far I've had transmissions problems, brake problems, quirky little problems like the NAV going on the fritz, and all kinds of other fun.

Like I said, there's a reason resale value on Mercs is the pits.

The E class is probably the most reliable Benz in that time period. Yes they are a good car.

"I am confused between BMW car or Mercedes, which one you consider as most premier/luxury, if you have to buy?

The M class was MB's biggest mistake, and the earlier C class cars were plagued with electrical problems. The E class and S class rose above those. The reliability is coming back for all lines even the C and M. The E class has always been my fave.

Can u tell me whether honda city is good or civic is good to drive in India?I do love both the cars.?

The E class has suffered reliability problems since the 210 chassis was introduced in 1996. The 211, introduced in 1993 was better. But neither car comes close to the traditional bulletproof quality of the older 123 sedans.
