I dislike front wheel drive!?

Question:
Yet it is so common. There are so many nice cars let down by the fact they are front wheel drive. No matter what anyone says I think you can always feel the steering wheel flex. Plus they understeer and you cant balance the tail of the car with the accelerator. In short they are not fun. How do others feel about this?

Wot do i need to put 4.6L motor in my 04 v6 mustang?

I agree. I used to buy Impalas and Monte Carlos when they were RWD. Now they're all FWD pieces of ****!. Wouldn't own one if it was a gift.

How many 1. VW splitscreens and 2. Bay windows registered with DVLA?

My point exactly, I used to love doing 'Donuts' in the snow at an empty parking lot.Engines and transmissions were easier to change and had some weight in the as... end.Although the FWD's are far better for traction in the snow. They are more of a pain in the as... to work on.

What shouild I do?

If you know how to drive you can certainly counteract the understeer and even get the tail of the car to oversteer. You just don't know what you are doing. But yes, they are less fun when hooning around, but are safer through the twisty bits unless pushed pass their limits. Then you have to know what you are doing. Ask someone what happens if you try this on a safe bit of dirt road with no one around and not going too fast. Note: I will not be held responsible for your actions: go around a corner with the revs up until you feel understeer starting to happen. Immediately lift off the accelerator fully, then slam it back down again, keeping the revs high at all times. The car will "tuck in" around the corner. Then do the same thing but when you don't have any understeer happening and see what happens. having fun yet ?

Does anyone know where I can find an automatic transmission for a 1967 mustang.?

ANY ONE know where the aux fan switch is on a JEEP CHEROKEE 1987?

i have to agree i to much prefer rear wheel drive cars for pretty much the same reason although a can see the reason that they were first made as pretty logical .
before abs braking rear wheel cars had a tendancy to straight line when braking and turning so the idea behind front wheel drive was to allow the car to steer under hard braking without locking the front wheels needless to say this only worked providing the driver didn't depress the clutch
as for the understeer it can be remedeed by control use of the hand brake you can also blip the throttle as you turn this will cause the whieght to shift on the car ie the front will dig in and the back end lift causing it to shift side ways slightly (also known as controlled lateral force.
but i prefer the rear wheel drive as most people tend to accelerate when sliding to try and power out of the skid
ps. american cars don't corner well at all somthing to do with a lack of decent corners in america lol

Is it possible to put a tt into a 2+2 300zx?

Thats why they still make rear wheel drive trucks ! ! But for most of the driving public front wheel drive vehicals offer increased stability and traction. I personally believe they are beneficial for the driving public. If you personally feel the need to feel that type of thrill I do hope you enjoy it where nobody else will be placed in jepordy by the stunts.

I need to now what model this truck is?

LOL I would never own a front wheel drive car. That would be so boring. You need to come to Australia we have plenty of rear wheel drive cars. Australias number 1 car is the Holden Commodore.

My 1999 chevy s-10 blazer has an hard shift from 1st only after an long out of town drive & no check eng lite?

my first car was rear wheel drive, i freakin loved it! Had it sideways every corner i could and ript up the gravel anywhere possible... until i stacked it lol, pretty bad too but no one was hurt thankfully, ever since my olds are hell bent on front wheel drive cars (mostly when it comes to me driving), they are actually safer so sadly for us rev heads unless you get something old it seems to be the way of the "future" =) Best hope is to get a nice Holden or ford if ya prefer but I'm all bout the hsv. I've been driving front wheels for 5yrs now, they steer like crap in the wet i recon, i think rear wheel is easier to handle when it's fishying rather than the bumpy jumpy of front wheel.

Which one is better a 2007 jeep grand cherokee laredo or a 06 nissan maxima?

There are many RWD cars out there. Try a new Chrysler product as some are RWD like the 300.

Jeep Question Re-cap?

yeah and you can't drift them well.

In as country makes car bugatti veyron?

Get AWD and get the worst of both worlds. Oversteer and Understeer. Actually AWD is awesome. Nothing better than an AWD drift either.
