Toyota recalled about 2.7 million vehicles in 2006 and has lawsuits pending for engine problems,what happened to their quality?And don't tell me this is a good thing,when GM,Ford or Chrysler do this everyone is putting them down.

If you're referring to the sludge problem on the 3.0 L engine, it was due to people who did not do their oil changes. Some of these people couldn't even come up with a single invoice showing an oil change had even been performed. I commend Toyota for extending their warranty and covering the motor repair for anyone who could at least show one oil change had been done. Way to go Toyota, they make fine automobiles.ive owned dodges from the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and an nearly new toyota - trust me toyota has good quality. i also sell parts for all makes of cars. but good job at stirring the pot.

people are always out to make Toyota look bad , they make good cars and trucks the problem is people don't change there oil or think they don't have to and the oil breaks down and turns into sludge and when they blew there motor they get a lawyer and place the blame on Toyota.1998 chrysler neon is leaking oil at the cam oil seal top of the engine is this an expensive repair?
toyota has had huge problems lately simply because the demand is higher than ever so they sped up production and quality went to the shitter think of it like walmart they got too big for there britches and split them now they have to sew them back toghether everyone messes up but keep it american keep our jobs here how bout toyota trucks built here have 17% domestic parts gm and ford built here have 86-95% domestic partsI just got offered a 2001 C-class mercedes for 7,000.
