To have delayed wipers installed?
I have a 2001 A6 2.7T Quattro and I just can’t give enough praise to this car! It now has a little over 106K miles on it and it’s been dealer serviced all its life. I will be trading it in soon ( I’ll hate to see it go) for a new A6 or I’m even considering the A8 but the A6 seams to better size wise and for what I use it for. I’ve been out test driving the competition and they are all a joke! My high mileage A6 still rides better handles better and just over all performs better than any of its competitors, and I’m talking brand new competitors! Now mind you, as I said mine has been nothing but dealership serviced and it has had a few quirks that have been expensive to repair but nothing major and nothing one would not expect with a car of that age and mileage. Thankfully my dealer has been absolutely outstanding and has worked diligent with me to make sure my car remains in tip top shape without breaking my bank account and in many cases has even repaired items on the car that have long since passed warranty at no charge.How much gas milleage does my 99 Honda Civic EX give me?
I personally feel you won’t go wrong with an A6 especially if you purchase it from a reputable dealer and a good dealer who has checked over the car and deemed it worthy. Hey and just for grins, drive the A6 your looking at then go try some of it’s so called equals new and pre-owned. I will just about guarantee you they won’t hold a candle to the Audi.

I have a 2002 Audi A6 2.8, and I absolutely love it. I only have 200 bhp, compared to the 2.7T's 250. Maintenance is a problem on these cars though, I have spent about $500 a year on average on things such as new brakes, tires, upper control links, and a new timing belt. It does cost some money to maintain, but is totally worth it. This kind of stuff is expected when you buy a German luxury vehicle though. If you want an even quicker 2.7T, get the S-line, which puts out 268 horsepower (bhp), has a sportier suspension, a nice looking spoiler, and RS6 wheels. I love my A6 so much that the 2.7T S-line will probably be my next car. Audi offers it all: speed and luxury. You can push the car and it will feel like a sports car, or you can drive it smoothly around town just like the A8.

I would generally agree. I have a 2001 A6 - 4.2 (305 bhp) with the 17 inch sport rims and I cannot imagine driving anything else. The luxury, the ride, the handling and the ability to toast the knuckle-head kid in his Mustang GT when the opportunity arises. I may have a bit of a problem persuading the wife that the next car needs to be the A8-W12, but I am working on it.I have a six month old A6 2.7 turbo diesel. I absolutely love it ! It has the CVT transmission and gets 40 mpg on a run! Fantastic. It also has the variable air suspension with dynamic, automatic and comfort settings.

The 2.7T engine is a very sweet machine. There have not been many reported problems with this motor except in extremely high mileage or abusive ownership (and mostly in the older S4). I know at least five people who own and love this engine in the Audi A6.

I would recommend buying from an Audi dealership which can give you a factory extended warranty. You pay a few dollars more at a dealership but what you get in return is peace of mind that if anything goes wrong, it will get fixed by Audi mechanics generally free of charge. Audi dealerships have to go through a 300 point inspection before certifying the car. This is the highest point inspection in the entire industry. The next closest is less than 150 points.

Its an automobile par excellence. I have an 04 A6 2.7T Tip and as a matter of fact, am considering selling (upgrading to a newer bodystyle A6).My 2004 Dodge Neon is convulsing, got an answer?
It is a performance car, meaning produces higher horse power to weight ratio. It has a 2.7 liter (lighter V6) with twin turbo chargers and pumps out 265 BHP on stock and when the elrectonic speed limiter is removed generates about 320BHP(governor bypassed). Super peppy engine, fantastic response - overtaking a line of bumper to bumper trucks doing doing 80m on a freeway is effortless. Zooms from 80 to 100 in about 2.8 secs and 80 to 120 in approx 5 - and you wont even hear the engine strain (pretty quiet).
Excellent build quality, very sturdy, reliable performance sedan.
