Is the 4L60E tranny stronger in different GM vehicles?

Question:
I have a 4L60E tranny out of a 1995 Caprice and was wondering if its as strong as one out of a Camaro, Trans-Am/Firebird, etc...And I have an LT-1 with 93K on it if anyone is interested...

Anyone knows which is the japanese car available?

The 4L60 is usually a term used for the 4L60, 4L60e, and some even say the 4L65 is the same. They are beefed up based on the engine they are paired with. A 4L60e with a 5.3L V8 must be tougher than the one paired with a 3.7L I5 and so on...
The results seem to be mixed with them, some have great luck, getting 300k or more, and some have nothing but trouble.

How Miles is an 03' G35 Coupe good for? Would It be a good choice to buy an 03' with 70k miles on it?

the 4l60E is a very good trans and is stronger only by what engine is in front of it they used this trans for a whole bunch of gm vehicles so it depends on which motor is in front of it,. The weakest point for this trans is the over drive, but they generally will go around 200k before going out.
