I'm looking at buying a boat that weights about 7000lbs. I have a 1988 Chevy C2500 with a 5.7L V8. The trany has just been rebuilt and I rebuilt the engine about 40,000 miles ago. My truck runs great. Probably better than it did when it was new since I have put a lot of perfomance parts into it.
How much could i get for a 1993 nissan hardbody?
I just need to know how much I can pull and how much tounge weight I can handle.

I would like to know if anyone has anything to say about the pt cruiser. Is it a good car?
The 2500 is a 3/4 ton truck. It should handle a 10,000lb trailer. If it has a reciever hitch ( depending on the class) it will handle about 500lb toungue weight. With a load equalizing hitch, about 1,000 - 1,200lb toungue wgt. If you have just a ball screwed onto your back bumper, no more than 500lbs toungue, and about 4-5,000 lbs trailer(Including boat). I would recomend a class 4 reciever hitch, with a load equalizer ball mount with 750lb bars. That would make your boat, and truck ride well for the weight you're planning.Good luck, and happy boating!it might be 5000lbs to 7000lbs depends on trailer hitch my old gmc was 7000lbs to 10,000lbs and that was a 3/4 ton too with a 350ci but i went and put a 454 in it now it hauls just about anything. But your tounge weight not sure i would say 500 to 1000lbs.good luck
