go to a local juck yard and tell them want you what, If they say it is a running engine, most place will give you a 30 day warrenty on the engine given you so time to put it in and start it up.'99 Cadillac deVille traction and anti-lock lights on?
I just got a 302 for an 86 bronco and before I put it in I check the main bearing and it looked bad so I took the bearing back to the yard, they told me to go by a new and they would pay me back, did just that go the engine in and started right up no problems

Adding central locking to a 1995 N-Reg Renault Clio?
You did not say where you are located. But try the local junk yards. . look in the phone book for them. You will be much better off, and if you want to really be smart, get the warranty if they offer it when they do.What is the difference between a honda DX, LX, EX and SE?
Call up local salvage yard. Don't be afraid of using an auto salvage place. Generally they'll even give you some sort of a warranty on the motor. The engine you'd be purchasing would be out of a car that was in a rear end collision or other accident that would have rendered the car itself useless but the motor still fine. They can also tell you the mileage on the car before its demise.Does the 2003 mustang come with audio controls on the steering wheel?

How do I clear the service engine soon light on a 98 ford wndstar?
Go to a mustang list on the internet. They always have stuff for sale.Should I have my timing belt change?
first off you need to know that thereis a serious difference between the 2 engines you mentioned the big one ;A 6cylinder4.6 has alot of potential,as does the cant kill it 5.0but the bellhousings are different if it had a v8 it has 2 have a v8 put back in OR change the transmission as well .The 5.0 is heavier, less moving parts solid ,tons of after market parts floating around more so than the 4.6,but the 4.6 can attain massive power as well but will cost ya for it ,more so than the 5.0 or the 5.8 which will also fit under the hood (been there done it ).
ANYWAYS 5.0's are very commom in anyF150,your local scrap/junk yard should have you a nice running one for 200.oo plus trade (core)
If you are wanting to customize the mustang, then I'd first check salvage yards, but if I wanted to spend a little more money I would just order a crate motor and parts and build it myself. There is nothing better than popping the hood on an american muscle car and saying yeah I built it.
What si the actual time 21:18?
Well, the guy who thinks a 4.6 is a 6 cylinder needs to stop embarrassing himself by making failed attempts to answer automotive questions. But the two engines are very different indeed. If your car had a v-8 from the factory it was a 4.6 Triton. However, if it was a v-6 then it probably had a 3.8, which shares a bellhousing with the 5.0. I don't know if the 4.6 and the 5.0 share a bellhousing or not, but I kinda doubt it. What I'm getting at is that you need to know which engine will bolt up to your car before you just go looking for anything. Or decide what you would rather have and then decide how much work you're willing to do to get it in there. There is a lot to consider with an engine swap. Engine mount stools, bellhousing compatibility, cooling system compatibility, if it's automatic, you'll need to find out if the cars computer is compatible with the engine as you will be needing that computer to tell you tranny when to shift and where to go, unless you're willing to do away with that and swap transmissions too, see! how much work are you willing to do. If you're in a hurry to have the use of the car, put back what ever it had from the factory, if you're in a hurry to get it on a drag strip...sit this season out to get the thing ready and blow their doors off next year.Do u like this car better than the current xb?
