What kind of gas mileage do you get with your Infinity 2006 G35X.?

b44z's answer is the one that I would agree with. The 7.3L DIT engine has very rarely ever had any fuel starvation issues that I can think of. The most common cause of the stalling, or no start issue is the cam sensor. The easiest way to verify this, is to see if you lose your tachometer reading, since the CMP input to the PCM is a shared input. I certainly agree with the idea of keeping a spare sensor in the glove box along with a 10mm wrench, since that's the only tool needed, to change this part. The part number for this part from Ford is F7TZ-12K073-A. If you can take your truck to someone who has a scan tool that has access to live data, have the tech monitor the following data: ICP pressure at idle (should be 450-500 psi), IPR duty cycle (should be between 9-11%, above that, there's a leak), RPM (check for continuous RPM signal), EBP (should be 14.7+ or - psi at key on engine off). Hope this helps.

What is the differnce between a honda civic ex, lx, dx, hx?

It sounds to me like you have a restriction in your fuel system. First thing you should do is replace your fuel filter. If that does not fix your problem then you need to check for any kinked lines. What is happening is your fuel transfer pump is pulling the supply line into a vacuum due to the restriction. When the fuel in the system after the restriction is used up it stalls out. Since it is only a restriction the vacuum will suck the fuel back into the supply line and after a few minutes your truck will again start. If you have troubles finding the source you can buy a vacuum gauge and "T' it into your supply line to isolate the problem.

ok.. sava is on the right path. his idea of how to diag the concer is 100 percent correct. Im just gonna add to his info. You need to know what base fuel pressure is when concern happens. that can be taken off a port on the filter housing while also taking the reading as sava said.I have seen this a few times latly. Remove the fule filter housing lid and see how much debree is in it. it it has some its comming from your fuel tank. The sending unit in the tank has to filters and a swiching valve. When fuel reaches an ambient of aprox 70 degrees F the valve redirects fuel through 2 filters wich get pluged up and cause this issue.
Now if your truck has 2 fuel tanks try swiching the tanks to see if that helps.
If you are able to trace the issue to a failed fuel pump you really need to do the restriction test to make sure that the pump didnt fail from being starved

ANy one know where i can buy the "taxi" body kit??

Checking the fuel system is a good idea however the 7.3 all years has a crank sensor. From what you described that is the problem. depending on where you get it can run from 75-100 bucks and takes about 5 minutes to replace. I keep on in my glove compartment of my 2000 F250 7.3L. This vehicle has ove 200,000 miles and other than things that will fail on any make no problems.

How do I change the shifter knob on a 2006 Chevy Silverado?

I have replaced the cam position sensor (CMP) for this exact problem. The sensor sends a signal to the PCM that indicates engine rotation and cylinder identification. If the signal is lost the PCM don't know the engine is turning so it wont fire the injectors and the vehicle quits. The problem seems to be temp. related because they will almost always start after they sit for a while. Hope this helps.

Honda Civic 94 manual.How to pimp it out?DX 16VALVE?

Your are having a problem with one or two things. the first would be the mass air flow sensor and the second could possibly be the shift sensor. this is a common problem with this engine. I have had 2 of them do exactly the same thing. I found out the hard way and took it to the dealership where I had purchased it. Luckily it was still under warranty.

Why is the BMW "Build" Option NOT Apple Friendly?

CAM sensor. 7.3 L engines are known for that.
Ford has a recall on them per NHTSA order.

CMP, camshaft position sensor. That's the only really common problem with 7.3. All in all, a very reliable, well biult engine.
