i own a repair shop,and i can tell you this, they do work,and will help it a lot,i have installed a few of them on some customer vehicles,and they helped with horse power and performance ,and all of them seemed to get a lot better mileage.i use one on my service truck and it really made a good difference in it,but there will be a noticeable difference in it,good luck with it.

Eh...I don't know here... I mean, it won't HURT the car, and yeah, there's a good chance you'll gain a couple horses...but will it be noticable? Probably not. Now, if you go with a full exhaust, upgrade the cams to race cams, and a performance chip, and maybe a new intake manifold, yeah, then it will really help, but on a stock neon? All it's really going to do is make it sound whiney.
