its just a blatant lie. several enzos have been essentially completely destroyed (fires, horrid crashes where little is left, etc ,etc), yet have been rebuilt. One car they essentially just saved the VIN plate and then built a new car to put it on. the eddie griffin crash was minor compared to some of the others that have happened.Gas mileage on a 2006 VW Jetta 2.5?

How many did they make 50? 100? 500? Certainly no more than that. You are not going to go down to your local NAPA store and start picking up parts.
So it looks like they will total it and the owner can go buy another one. The insurance company will sell or auction off the wreck so they can reclaim some on their loss. So there you go, just run on down there and put in your bid.

It's the kiss of death for the car. It will be branded forever as a wrecked car. Nobody in his right mind would want it. Ferraris are super high tech space ships with rare metallurgy and very VERY expensive materials. The frame is ruined, the suspension is smashed, the car is totally f***ked.
