no spark coming from the coil? how are you testing this ? the problem could also be inside your distributor cap , did you check the rotor is it ok ? now to check for spark coming from the coil disconect one of your( ignition wires or spark plug wires )insert an screwdriver in it and hold it about 1/4 of an inch from a well known ground source on the engine if you cranck the engine you should see sparks jumping from the screwdriver into the engine , try that and see, if you dont have any spark then the problem is your coil , good luck budAnyone know where i can get paint for an ex British Gas Berlingo van?
It is next to impossible to test a coil when it is cold. A coil has to be at operating temperature otherwise the test is useless. Another cause could be the ignition module. If this goes on the fritz the vehicle will never start. Pull it and have it tested. AutoZone can usually check these and the service is free.Where is the AC fuse located on a 91 Celica GT?
Start from square one, does the rotor turn when cranking? If not you may have a broken timing belt, the igniter will not operate if the cam doesn't turn. "no spark"More Questions & Answers ...
