Answers:

Why do people buy AC cars and still travel with windows down in summer and still bear the heat ?

The B18C5 (Type-R) makes less HP AND TQ then the K20A1. The K series is a superior motor because Honda had the sense to flip the engine around so the intake manifold sits at the front and the exhaust manifold sits at the rear. This is good because on B series motors the exhaust was routed under the oil pan and would heat it up. The K series exhaust piping doesnt travel under the oil pan. Also you'll be hard pressed to find a cheap B18C5 with under 40K miles on it. B18's dont come "built", as gketter would like to believe, unless you are in a video game. The K series motors have better heads and i-vtec. You'll get the most out of your dollar with the K series swap.

2001 mustang v6 3.8 shows code 401 with OBD11 reader have put out lite but keeps coming back on faulty sensor?

k20 s is a great swap.

Is there a vehicle -- new or old -- that's uglier than the Pontiac Aztec?

B18 ITR would be your best bet. It's less hp than the K20 but the torque and rev speed more than make up for it... plus it comes built, you can't beat that.
