What does "no bus" mean on the dash of a 1999 stratus that won't turn over?
i own a shop, and id say its the resistor on it,and you can do it ,its located on the out side of the heater box of it,it has a small wiring harness that goes to it,and two screws that hold it on if I'm not mistaken, but its an easy job,you don't need a mechanic for doing this one, just a new part and about 5 minutes of your time ,and that's it,good luck hope this helps.Do they make Cheverolet Cavelier anymore?
Vary seldom does the switch go out, as such you need to replace the resistor assy, which IS the cheaper of the two.As i am not familiar with the Dodge product, I cant say for certain, where the resistor is, On a GM, it is located on top of the heater box. make sure you follow the color code (wire) to the new one. (should be three wires)
On high, current is dirict to the fan, thats why it works on high only.

Sounds like you have a problem w/ the resistor. It is located on the lower right hand-side of of the HVAC unit housing (under the dash on the passenger side).Saab experts, Is this worth it?
It the resistor, whereas, its really hard to get at, but as long as the blower motor works at any speed the resistor is the item that controls hi and low. Normal problem with this car, replace the blower motor resistor.More Questions & Answers ...
