...the small "headlights" which are always on when the vehicle is in gear? My driver's side one burns out constantly, and I've noted "hundreds" of other late model Chevy/GMC with the same. Remedy?

Volvo C70 Transmission is starting to slip?
Well the new GM products, say since 2002 or so have methods outlined in the owners manual to allow the owners to shut off the daytime running lights as they see fit. No need to pull fuses or relays and risk having something else not work properly. The light bulb sockets tend to get very hot and just melt away and or burn up over time. This is just from the continous heat of a hot bulb running all day long. There is a new bulb for the running lights which is supposed to run cooler and last longer, its number is T4157.I have used them with mixed results. Often times you end up replacing the light sockets and using the new bulbs to get them working again.
I need to decide between a between buying a RAV 4 and a Honda CRV.?
Every couple years when I buy a new truck, the first thing I do is unhook the daytime running lights. You can simply pull the fuse and the daytime running lights will no longer function. It does not affect normal operation of your headlights at all.More Questions & Answers ...
