Anybody familiar with the 2007 Mustang GT California Special?

I just bought one and want to know what owners think of them. Please let me know anything about interior, exterior, gas mileage, car handling on the roads, anything.

Can you add automatic locks to a vehicle that dont have them?

Is ford making a comeback?

For months I've contemplated getting one. Test drove them (GT & GT CS) several times. While the salesman did, the car itself just couldn't convince me to buy it for several reasons.

I didn't feel they were as fast & quick as they're made out to be. Maybe it was just me, but I was NOT impressed on take off and recovery.
Road noise was about equal to my '93 GT (that's sad.)
With the sorry gas mileage it gets, I couldn't see paying $30K+ for a brand new car when my '93 (w/160K miles on it) gets nearly identical gas mileage.
I would've expected by now that Ford had improved the braking system. I didn't like how the brakes felt in any of the cars I drove.

I must past emission test Apr.20, malfunction indicator light was command on, no respond?

It's so late to buy an '07 now that I've just decided to wait and see what the '08's have to offer.

In any event, good luck with yours. Probably not as bad as I make them out to be, but I'm very critical of my rides and expect my $30K+ worth.

Toyota vios.?

They are a GT with some appearance extras. You should be quite happy with it. My GT gets around 18 in town and mid 20's for mileage on the highway. These cars handle better than the previous Mustangs did.

Camaro, windshield washer on fritz, but wipers still work, is washer pump in the motor itself or elsewhere?

Now for the bad. The traction control isn't the greatest. I can still smoke the tires with it on. It is a mustang, so be prepared for rattles. There are also a couple of TSB's to keep an eye out for.

Is the Toyota Solara a nice car? Why or why not? Should I trade my 07 Eclipse for it?

Your best bet is to get educated about your car. Find a good forum or two and join. There are quite a good number of them out there for Mustangs. Oh, and be aware that it takes a several months before you quit smiling ear to ear after every drive. Congrats on the new ride, you are going to LOVE it!
