Question:
It does come out slightly warm but nothing like it used to.
I have just had it serviced and my mechanic can not find what's wrong with it. Has anyone had similar problems and found the solution? Or does anyone have any clues where to look? Or who to take it to? I live in Rayleigh, Essex. Many thanks.

A faulty heater matrix (normally tucked up behing the dashboard)
Or
A collapsed hose
Or
An air lock in the water system
OR
The Thermostat if opening too early and the whole system is rrunning cool(should show on the temp guage)

the heater matrix is blocked remove the two hoses that go through the bulk head and flush with a hose pipePut in some radiator cleaning fluid ,it will tell you how much to put in on the container,but you will have to drain some water off first to make room for the cleaning fluid ,you will then need to drive around for so many miles ,and again it will tell you on the container ,you will then need to drain off all the dirty fluids ,flush out with clean water .put in clean water and dont forget to put in the antifreeze

yes. heater matrix has a cable lever, if this is loose the cable will slip . so the outer cable moves instead of being clamped tightMore Questions & Answers ...
