Power tune 2006 chevrolet 2500 hd?

I saw a priduct made by hypertech that enables you to access the cars computer to alter the performance. Im looking for better gas mileage on my 6.0 liter engine,,has enybody out there tried this and what kind of mileage change can i expect?? can this be done with a lap top pc

No. It is a tuner specially designed to acess the computer port on a vehicle. If you want an inexpensive upgrade, get a K&N filter for your intake.
