Mercedes C180 wont start.?

If it's well maintained and not hot rodded or overloaded, no reason why not. The pistons may be loose in the bore, but if it don't smoke or use oil, it should go. A timing chain and gear would by a worthwhile investment rather than driving it till it quits. That will extend gas mileage and make it run a little better, too.
That's an odd one. The actual ignition switch is operated by a rod from the key section to the switch on top of steering column under the dash. If it's been wired around, forget the key switch except to unlock the wheel, unless that's been done away with, too.

Can the factory rotors on 99 alero be "turned"?

thers the key change the fluids oil and antifreez,,the leading cause of motor faluire is the water jackets rust out and crack into the block followed by sludge buildup and the oil dosnt get back to top of motor...dont run low octain gas get midgrade ..and dont ever get gas from a station where the truck is filling the station tanks..it blow all the sedement from the bottom of the station tank and you pump into your car..as well as the block you'v got is a good rebuilder for later..
