comparing technically...!!Santro Xing is not as speedy as Swift is..! but.Swift Make has got some ... techincal faults in its Central Locking system... this probleem mainly prevails in Vxi and Zxi.but then y go 4 an Maruti . 4 the same price . a santro Xing is worth...!!

Swift is an international model that's more recent than the Santro. If you are planning to buy one, you would have to drive one and see. Santro is pretty easy to drive around. If you are more into driving and looking for a drivers car then maybe the Swift would appeal to you. If its a commutebetween A to B then its santro.

Hm......Santro is a compact car whereas the Swift is a Medium-sized hatchback. The Swift is wider, longer and much more spacious and is in a higher position than the Santro. It has a got a more powerful 1300cc engine against the 1100cc engine in the santro. It has better handling..and at its price, it is good value ofr money too.The Santro is much more user friendly in city... being more compact, and offers better visibility due to its higher seating position. The controls are light and the responsiveness of the engine makes it ideal for stop and go traffic in cities....But a swift makes a safer choice on highways..The Santro is tall and feels heavy and rolls a lot while cornering hard.

If u luv driving fast, look no further than the swift. It has got good handling and power to go with it. It has good image, and it looks absolutely fabulous. On the flip side, quality is not all that great, body parts are costly and 1300 cc engine wont give u very good economy either. The negatives of the Santro include poor/bumpy ride at the rear, awkwardly placed pedals etc.
It is going to be very long if i go on describing these two cars. So if you are really confused, give me a call.

you really can't compare a santro xing to a maruti swift. a swift is in a higher segment than a santro xing.
