Any know how Kia compares to Toyota?

NOT the 1957 Chevy was NOT over Ebgineered. Looks was in at that time. That is a prime example of American made car. New ideas were coming into play.

Ive got a vauxhall astra 1.8 16v and im wondering would it put a challenge to a vectra 2.5 V6?

Well, Boyd's crew is used to 30s cars (well, those that haven't already quit or gotten fired), so compared to those, I guess it could be said it is over-engineered. Good thing they don't have to deal with anything newer than 1972, or they would really be out of their element.

How do I set up a blue tooth phone on a 2004 BMW 645ci with idrive?

I didn't see the program, however i don't believe that a 57 chevy would in anyway be over engineered any more than any 50's car was. Cars in the 50's and 60's were built pretty stout, I'm assuming that is what they were talking about. They certainly were not very advanced by any means. There wasn't anything special about them in that aspect. A little 283 (although new for that model year) wasn't anything too earth shattering (although you could get it with fuel injection, which was a big deal at the time.)

As for being overengineered, I'd have to say, no.

How do I change the cabin filter for a 2005 Honda Odyssey?

I had a '55 for 15 years, basically the same car. They are in no way over engineered. There's nothing complicated on shoebox Chevy's at all. Basically everything on the car comes apart just like you'd think it would. Those guys are just used to only reusing a body and replacing everything else.

I wana put my 1995 Ford Ranger on a diet??

no way. i own a 57 chevy 150. same body as a bel air just a base model. i also had a 57 bel air. no way are they over engineered.

Are peugeot and citreon diesel cars basically the same or are they completely different, someone told me they?

It is actually under-engineered. They over built to add to the factor of safety since they were unsure. This is very common in older cars, buildings, bridges, machinery, etc. Most stuff designed now is optimized with little waste and room for screw ups. I think that 57 will be a great build.
