The extended cab had the smallest tank available in that year, figure that one out! I had an '88 2.9l 5spd (wish I had it back), I think 12-13 gal is about right, it wasn't much in any case. Great truck though, enjoy your Gen 1 Ranger, best small truck ever made IMO!
