Honda Civic...Timing off?

It is by far the worse vehicle I have ever owned. The only one who rides anywhere near comfortable is the driver. Riders in the back had to sit on pillows because the seat was hard as a board!

How do you temporarily stop an odometer in a hummer H3?

No one in my family liked it. It drove okay, but why have a vehicle that will seat four when you are the only one who will ride further than 10 minutes in it?

Since many Ford automobiles are built outside the US is buying "American Cars" such as ford helping economy?

These SUV's were not made for comfort. If your sister wants to be comfortable on trips, tell her to keep looking!

What is the stock gear ratio in a standard base 1991 Jeep Wrangler?

I wouldn't own one. Too big, too fuel hungry. There was a problem with Firestone tires of a certain type on these vehicles. I'd do some research on that before purchasing. I just don't think they are as reliable as they should be.

Most cars have recalls on them for one reason or another. good things about recalls is the dealership fixes them for free. so no worries. I have one, a 2005, I love it.

Does anyone know how much it costs to lease a 2007 BMW 328i 2dr Convertible? Thanks?

All I can tell you is that my son drives one occasionally as a favor to pick up his friend to bring him to his dad's for the weekend. He hates it and calls it an "Exploder." He's 18.

How do I disassemble an alternator from a 1988 Corvette to replace the regulator module?

First, they aren't cars, they are SUV's. Second, they have the highest recall rate of any vehicle. I wouldn't own ANY Ford vehicle, as they are very poorly made by very old, lazy union workers (they've made a name for themselves alright). Your best best is a GM vehicle, or Mitsubishi.

Does anyone know where I can rent a 4X4 Jeep Wrangler?

The tire problem has been corrected. The rollover problem you'll find mentioned is not a vehicle problem, it is a driver problem. If she knows how to drive an SUV she'll be fine.

Can a '94 mazda B4000 engine be replaced with a V8 engine?

As for the recall-all cars have recalls. That just means that they are fixing problems that exist, you cant make a perfect car, there will be problems. The biggest recall on them was the tire pressure for the Firestones though-it was just a new sticker being applied that showed the correct pressure for those particular tires.

Where is the temperature sensor located on a 1998 ford expedition xlt?

They are excellent cars. Heavy and bad on gas, but what do you expect out of an suv?

Dodge Stratus 1998 Tail lights?

I have a '98 (6 cyl) with 150,000 miles. Great car. I get 18 - 20 mpg. They ride stiff, and the radio sucks, but that is my only complaint. The recall was for roll over problems with Firestone tires. If she drives 100 MPH on interstate exit ramps, this is not the car for her. It is an SUV, not a Corvette.
Follow speed limits (or 5mph over) on ramps and there are no problems. Two other recalls for
1)a bolt in the seat, and a
2) problem with cruise. I didn't even bother to get them fixed. With good tires, it will go anyplace. I pull out other 4wd that get stuck all the time.

They are pretty reliable SUV's, much more so than the post-1994 Chevy Blazer's/GMC Jimmy's, Jeep Grand Cherokee's and the Chevy TrailBlazer's/GMC Envoy's.

I own a 1994 Chevy Cavalier. Is there any intake systems available for my car?

I like them I have a 1997 Explorer and i use to have a 96 Eddie Bauer edition. Both great. I've had to upgrade do to the size of my family needs. But the one i still have is running strong as the day it was made. I've only had to do the maintenance items ( oil, tune up,etc..) Also the recall was for bad Firestone tires. Any used on should have already been replaced.

How is the Suzuki XL.7?

There are many answers on this. The 1998 is a better one then the 1995. The Explorer, from what we have experienced, and we operate thousands of suvs of all makes and models, are the best bang for the buck. Every one knows how to fix them, they don't break any more or any less then any other vehicle and the gas mileage is decent for that size car. The 1995 will get worse mileage the the 1998. If you buy any suv try and avoid full time 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. They are always in 4 x 4 and use more gas. I would buy a 1998 before the 1995 and I have no major issues with any of the 1998's we still have in service. In fact we have a couple with over 1/2 million miles on them.
