I have a 2005 doge neon sxt, and the problem is i took it to walmart to get oil and injectors cleaned. They forgot a hose back on the master cylinder and this has cause the brakes to be extremely hard to stop the car. In other words I have to press the brake pedal hard to stop the car. I have taken it back to walmart and they have shown me where the hose is missing (their fault) but they don't know where it goes to. Please help I cannot figure it out and can not find a diagram that shows where it (the hose go to) it is the hose from the master cylinder to somewhere.

The hose does not attach to the master cylinder itself.If you found the hose that came disconnected.It attaches to the 'Booster" it is the big round thing that the master cylinder is attached to.Just look around the booster for plastic connection that a hose woild attach to.If the connector is missing,you may have to go to a junkyard or Dealership to get that piece.It is only held in place by a rubber grommit.Just replace the hose and your power brakes will return.If you pop your hood and have the engine running.You should hear a vacuum leak coming from that hose.A sucking air kind of sound.Listen in the area of the master cylinder and Booster.

they should have not touched the master cylinder during an oil and injector change it must have been something else. you can not hold them responsible because no one would touch your master cylinder during an oil change unless it was your worst enemy and they wanted to kill you
