Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 2001 Chevy Blazer?

I have been told under the dash near the cigeratte lighter and also behind the glove box. Does anyone know where for sure?

the flasher is located behind the glove box.
you must release the tab holding the glove box up,lower the box look to the right of the big wiring connector . release the tab and pull the flasher out. its black in color and square shaped, can't miss it.
