Question:
i have a 1999 dodge dakota auto tranny 3.9L club cab and i've never had any problems with it so far. it has 91,000 thousand on it and it's never been driven too hard, but it is modded out a bit and has a lot of visual upgrades to it so of course, if someone challenges me to race, i'm not backing down.
so to the point... it sounds fine when its in park or neutral, but whenever i put it in a gear (reverse, or any of the drives ex..D, 1, or 2) there is kinda of a clangy ratteling noise coming from under the hood. what could this be? i thought it might be the clutch getting worn out but that wouldnt make sense because its coming from under the hood. what is this noise and how can i fix it?

What kind of new cars do you think Aston Martin will create with its new ownership?
Might want to check for loose heat Shields or any other metals... if your "Manuel trans" is making noise it might need attention sooner than later.I want to cut the springs on my car temporarily until i get a lowering kit...?
Best wishes!
