i own a shop,and all you do is pull on the lever down below the steering column ,and it will pop up and then release the latch the rest of the way on it,and that's it,really simple,good luck.Should be a hood release lever next to the left kick panel.

If you can't figure out how to open it, you probably have no business being under there in the first place.I'm not sure on the new Chrysler cars, but the older ones have an inside latch, under the dashboard, to the left of the steering column. Pull that latch until the hood pops, then go to the front of the car and feel around under the center of the opening you've just created. There should be a lever or catch which you have to push to the side (or sometimes towards the rear).
