This will run the electric fuel pump for 5 seconds before the pump shuts off. after the 5 seconds, turn the key "off" then back on for another 5 seconds. This will cycle the vapors out of the fuel rack and back towards the tank if it is a fuel return type system and bring fresh fuel up or, if its a non-return system it will compress the vapors that will make it easier to start.
