Question:
Every now and again my Camry squeaks and acts like it doesnt want to turn? Im not forsure what this is.. When I go to turn it is kinda jumpy (the steering wheel). Its a 1997 Toyota Camry manual 5 spd. Im trying to sell and it just started the not wanting to turn thing yesterday. I thought it was maybe a belt? because Ive heard cars with squeaky belts. I also thought it was maybe the power steering fluid? But it still has plenty of fluid? I need help ASAP, cause I dont know if this is safe to drive.

You will probably notice it slowly getting worse... It's usually a sign of the strut mounts (bearing inside) starting to seize up. You will find that if you do a quick lubrication of the upper mounts... you will temporally fix the problem - But long term - you will need to replace them. If the steering wheel is a bit jumpy when turning while parking - it sounds more like the power steering belt is loose... or worn and sliding... Tighten it fist and see how that works...Where are the cd players located in Mercedes?
