Chuck the battery. Get a new one. You basically fried the old one letting it sit till it died.I have a question about my 1995 Nissan altima?
It is possible that the battery did not take a charge.I would start by getting the battery tested. Then take it from there. It is possible that by the battery not being disconnected while the vehicle was in storage, anything that was running off the battery like the clock would drain the battery and cause the battery cells to go dead and the battery will not accept a charge anymore.Does anyone have a exhaust manifold for a 48 plymouth coupe?
Um, first of all, you have a Ford, bad choice. How much does a toyota rav 4 cost?
Next, your battery is dead, that's why your van won't start.
Does anyone know how to set the clock in a 2001 dodge caravan?
This needs to be taken in if you can't get the lights and other items in the van to operate. Otherwise replace the battery. Hooking the battery charger with the cables hooked up isn't a good idea either. You could have fried the computers that control the body and engine. There are three, two for the body and one for the power train.you really need to take the battery out and have it charged and tested. It is possible the battery is so dead that its stopping the car from starting. Its also possible the starter is stuck. Turn your lights on, turn the key to start, do you hear a loud click? and do your lights dim? if so your starter is stuck. If you hear a click and your lights do not dim you have a bad cable to the starter or a bad soloniod
