I have normal engine temperature and cold air blowing very strong out the vents inside the jeep.

if the blower is working, it is not the fuse. and if the engine temp is normal, it is not the thermostat. it could be possibly 3 things. first, there is a valve in the coolant line that leads to the heater core that isn't opening. second, the heater core could be plugged. third, one of the vacuum operated doors on the heating system isn't working properly and letting the heat into the vehicle. it would be nice if everything could be fixed by changing a fuse!!
I bought a Kia Sportage, but I'm not sure if its a EX sport utility, or just sport utility, what does EX mean?
I hate to ask this but have you check the fuse? (Happened to me is why I mention it...blower worked fine but only cold air and in Feburary in Michigan it really sucked!)
