What can I do to make my E36 indicators work?

I have a 1993 BMW 325i. I checked all the fuses and changed the flasher. the lights do work but it doesn't flash outside or on the dash. What could be the problem?

It's possible that you have a continuity issue in the wiring. I had a problem like that with a 1992 Nissan Maxima. I solved it by getting the repair manual so I could get the wiring diagram, and got 2 electrician's diagnostic tools that I used to find the corroded part in the wire. Both tools are available at Home Depot.
