Yes as far as engine to chassis, but what kind of tranny do you have, not a three speed manual, it wont fit on the 302.Are you pulling out a V-6, if so check with the pros.You sure can, it's not uncommon for them to do it, there are people who put 351's and 460's in their Ford Ranger's.

Yes you can but it will cost plenty. There are "kits" available for purchase in many of the racing mags at your local drug store. I believe also that Summit Racing offers a kit in their mag as well. These consist mainly of (steel)motor and tranny mounts as well as some extras. The easiest and less expensive way is to go with carberation instead of fuel injection. Its not as fuel efficient but less costly to get going. You'll also have to change or "modify" the hood to allow for roughly 8 to 12 inches of additional height needed. Tune-ups will be an interesting chore as work space will be limited, especially near the steering box. Unfortunately, headers are out of the question and stock exhuast manifolds or the only option. Last but not least, you'll have to run an electric cooling fan mounted directly to the radiator because of lack of clearance for the clutch mounted fan.
