2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 0-60=4.5 sec 1/4mile=12.9sec
2006 GTO=$33,000 (base)
2007 GT500=$39,990 (base)
So hell, throw that extra $6,000 in that gto and that gt500 wouldnt stand a chance.
But if you compare the GT500KR to the GTO, the GT500KR spanks it all over the road.
GT500KR 0-60=3.9sec 1/4 mile =12.1 (ive seen as low as 11.7 but i cant confirm that number)

The verdict: If the GT500 and GTO were racing and they had comparable drivers, it would be a dead tie.
If the gt500kr and gto were racing, the gt500kr would ***** slap it.

And the 178 MPH is ridiculous. All american cars are speed limited to 155... sorry, unless this gto had a complete ecu swap, it aint gonna hit that.

The GTO has the same engine and transmission as a new Corvette. An LS2 6.0 liter engine and a six speed. And because the platform that the GTO is built from is a 50,000 dollar luxury sedan in Australia, it has an awesome interior, a smooth ride at high speeds, and a classy appearance. Not to mention a 0-60 time of 4.8 secs, and a top speed of 178 mph. I rest my case.Andy - I,m talking about after you disengage the limiter, you know that. Who doesn't do that? I know I did.
