Will a 95 dodge neon engine fit a 95 mitsubishi eclipse with no modofacations.?

It will fit but not without modifications. Neon engines have different ECU's, exhaust/intake manifold orientation, and the heads are opposite. The blocks are the same though.

Basically yes. And there really is no reason to do the swap though. The motors are exactly the same. Off course there are some horsepower differences from different exhausts and drivetrains, but the motor is exactly the same. Stick with the engine that you got. My 97 is running great and shows no sign of stopping. Got 67,000 miles on it. Even put in a turbo kit from Hahn Racecraft. (332.6whp automatic) Anyways, I hope this helps. yes it will fit, you just have to use your head because the intake and exhaust are reversed on the neon.
