Seriously for the trouble spent trying to make the 6 work, you could drop a v8 in it. But if you must?
1. Add headers & upgrade the exhuast system to 2.5 to 3".
2. Remove stock intake system & replace with a cold air system.
3. upgrade plugs & wires.
4. Consider a performace cam.
5. play with the ecu.
6. play with the gearing.
7. get fancy power adder( Super charger, turbo, NOS kit)
8. pull motor for a whole machine job with heads & intake manifold changed.
