Difference between base and RS Camaro? (2000 model)?

I've seen a few RS Camaros, around 1999-2000, I can't exactly remember, but they said they were RS. However I thought the RS Camaros were supposed to have badges that said "RS". I know SLP RS Camaros have stripes and stuff, but I think those were from the SLP package. So my point is... what is included in the RS package?

chevy dropped the RS designation in 1998 and reintroduced with the SLP model in 2001. the RS styling was around in those times but im not sure what classified it as an RS. as far as i know, it was just purely a ground effects kit.

I believe the RS Camaros have a ground effect package on them. I have a friend who has a 97 RS and it has this package.

RS Means V-6 Camaro Trying to look like V-8 Camaro. I would get A Z-28(V-8) or SS (Bigger V-8).

RS models basically had the "Sport Appearance Package" applied to a V6 Camaro. More or less, that is the only difference.
