Question:
I recently added a Jet Performance Chip to my Jeep 5.7 Hemi. This thing kicks *!!#% now. I can't stomp without burning rubber. Its become a real "traffic light warrior". I love the gains, but I am concerned about the check engine light.

should of went with a superchip programmer as it reprograms the computer. you can only fool a computer for so long. over time it will revert to the orginal programming and ignore the jet chip. just liek a child that ignores a parent. there there but nothing they can do to make the child listen lol.
Witch car is better?
Alot of times those aftermarket chips work by fooling the cars computer into doing things differently. The other side of this is that the codes that it might expect to be getting back from the various systems in the car are altered so the computer turns on the check engine light. There might be nothing wrong but the computer thinks that there is. Check with the manufacturer of the performance chip to see if it's normal for the check engine light to come on.
