Question:
Well I bought the carfax report and the first owner leased it for three years and it had severe damage to the front (airbag deployed) and moderate damage to the back from accidents. Probably it was fixed pretty well by an official certified BMW mechanic or he paid for the damages it at the end of the lease. BMW wouldn't resell a malfunctional car. The second owner used the car for about 6.5 years with no accidents. One record shows that it was serviced in 02. The current owner bought the car sometime in June 06 and is selling it since he bought a newer Acura. The current owner has had a minor accident to the rear bumper with almost no signs of damage. This car has never failed an emissions test and it looks almost new. ~120K mileage and the asking price is about $8.5K. I'm a student who would like to use this car for 5-7 years. Should I buy it or should I stay away from it?

Hi there,2004 Honda Accord makes some weird noise, please help!?
There seems to be a lot going against it, crash damage, high mileage and no evidence of service since '02.
BMWs like regular servicing. You could be heading towards replacing a lot of tiring, aging and expensive parts here, especially if you plan to keep the car for 5~7 years.
From your experience which is the better option Toyota Corolla or Toyota Vios and Why?
I would suggest you look around at what else the market has to offer.
Hope this helps
Low profile tires dodge durango98?
Nah, if you have around $8.5 K, better to buy a honda or toyota in newer year ( you probably get 02-03) which is more reliable. However, if you are bimmer fan, i would recommend you to get 3 series (you can get around year 99-00), which is more reliable due to less electronic stuff. I would say less electronic for used car, less problem you have. Just my opinion.More Questions & Answers ...
