Would these tires fit?

Question:
I want 31x10.5 R15 tires on my rims would they fit my 1993 Dodge Dakota without rubbing wheel well according to Summit they are 30 inchs in diameter the ones I have now are 235/75 R15 which according to Summit are 28 inchs in diameter.

They will fit the back of your Dakota, but you cannot use your factory wheels. You should have at least 8 1/2" wide wheels, and you need to check the back spacing on the wheels to make sure your tires won't rub on anything on the inside of the wheel and tire.

I have an 88 silverado, and it tends to attract rust. Are these model of trucks just prone to rust?

The diameter difference is only going to amount to one inch from center, will clear easily.
