Question:
I have 94 Oldsmobile Cutlass and I have a problem whenever I am turning the car begins to jerk and if I am driving for a while and the car comes to a stop at a light it just cuts off. Also when I am going up a hill the check engine light comes on then after a few minutes it goes off. This problem just started and I have no idea what this could be PLEASE TELL ME.

The jerking sounds like a belt slipping. As for the Stall problem and the Check Engine light, that means the onboard computer is detecting an emission fault. Have a dealership pull the codes as soon as possible after the light comes on. It could be an o2 sensor, EGR valve or even a catalydic converter stopping up.If the later happens, you can blow the head gaskets.

fuel pump might be on the verge of dying. take it to a shop; the pump will be in the gas tank, and it isnt what u'd call an easy job.my 1999 crv has a sticker at the back window that says "REAL TIME 4WD". what does it mean?
The car jerking could just be the power steering messing up, and as for the check engine light, well it could be the distributer, or the electronics getting messed up because of the hill, porbably the distributor, because as far as I know the distributer needs to be a certian angle, and it could be loose or broken and when you go up hill it agitates the distibutor. I might be wrong. That is my guess2001 Chevrolet S10 4.3l Stock Automatic transmission OD gear ratio?
