Question:
My stock manifold is completely broken off, dumping exhaust straight from the header. 1992 4.0L Wrangler. Anyways, after my manifold, I have a straight pipe running through. I really wanna just replace everything after the header. I don't have a cat, so what muffler could I use that would keep it somewhat quiet without the cat? Are there any header-back systems? Cheap = good!
Thanks!

Can someone identify which part on the Nissan 350Z this is?
The Jeep manifolds are notorious for cracking and breaking. Go with an aftermarket such as Banks or Borla and you shouldn't have any more problems. Both brands also have high quality muffler systems. Banks are on the high side in price but the quality is great and Borla is good in both quality and price. Just don't go back with factory manifold unless you want this problem down the road again.Go to your local muffler shop. Tell then what you are looking for. Get a mild free flow muffler. Shouldnt cost much more than 150-200 bux.

Other than keeping the straight pipe to the muffler, the only other option is to have your muffler shop install a generic large resonator where the cat should be. It won't restrict the flow like a cat but it will help to keep the noise down. Probably cost less than $60.Safety belt not retracting properly in 1990 BMW 525i?
Or you can always reinstall a new cat.
