Warning Lights on 2003 Lincoln Aviator?

I just purchased a used 2003 Lincoln Aviator and I noticed a few warning lights the first day I drove it.

Which is the best color for Sienna??

It says the oil pressure is low and the fuel cap is open.

Hydraulics?

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

First thing is the fuel cap lamp,it's there to deter the Check Engine Light in Ford vehicles because of loss of pressure in the fuel tank itself, all in all, you probably just need to replace the fuel cap! The low pressure light will raise concern, typically I haven't seen these sensors go defective very often, and if the light is blinking on and off at different intervals, you have an oil pressure problem inside of the engine. Most likely problem would be the oil pump itself, unless the engine has been abused/not taken care of properly, then you may have scarred main bearing that ride along the crankshaft itself, if they are allowing oil pressure to leak away enough to cause the low oil pressure light to illuminate, then you could quite possibly have internal engine trouble already occuring! In other words, big money to repair!

Roll it off a cliff and see if the over the cliff light comes on. It's called an Aviator...can u imagine if a plane was built this way. The Consumer reports and JD power rate this vehicle very poorly. My advice is get rid of it. If you are Canadian and you have signed for it and had it less than 10 days you can return it to the dealership...if that is where you purchased it. That is the consumer protection law law.
